If you are an Associate
If you are a neither a PaceSetter nor a Platinum PaceSetter, you will still receive a Lifetime Matching Bonus. You will receive a 5 percent CVP match of everything generated by your personally sponsored Premier Platinum PaceSetters and a 2.5 percent match on Premier PaceSetters.
Money in the Bank
You will begin to earn a Lifetime Matching Bonus the moment you enroll someone, but you will only receive the match when your new Associate finalizes his or her status as a Premier PaceSetter or Premier Platinum PaceSetter. In the meantime, all matched CVP will be banked.
Qualified vs. Finalized
- Qualified: An Associate qualifies as a Premier Platinum PaceSetter when, during the eight-week qualification period, he or she personally sponsors four new Associates who open 1 or 3 Business Centers and collectively generate 1,600 Sales Volume Points (SVP). Or, an Associate qualifies as a Premier PaceSetter when, during the eight-week qualification period, he or she personally sponsors two new Associates who open 1 or 3 Business Centers and collectively generate 800 SVP.
- During the eight-week qualification period, USANA will assume all Associates are Premier Platinum PaceSetters and will bank accordingly. However, Associates will only be paid according to their finalized status.
- Finalized: An Associate’s PaceSetter status will be finalized after the latter of two dates:
- End of the eight-week Premier PaceSetter qualification window
- 31 days after the purchase that brought his or her combined SVP total to either 800 or 1,600*
*Provided that product returns have not dropped the combined SVP below the qualifying threshold.
For details on qualification periods or Premier versus “annual” status, visit the PaceSetters Rules page.
Additional Rules
- You will only receive a match of your sponsored Premier PaceSetters’/Premier Platinum PaceSetters’ basic commission (CVP), and not any other cash bonuses or incentives they receive (e.g., Fast Start Bonus, Matching Bonus, Leadership Bonus, etc.).
- As a sponsor, you will only receive a Lifetime Matching Bonus while you are commission-qualified. If you become commission-ineligible, you will not earn a Lifetime Matching Bonus and all “banked” amounts will be lost. You may start earning Lifetime Matching Bonus when you become commission-qualified again, but you will not recover any banked amounts previously lost.
- Lifetime Matching Bonus will be banked until your personally sponsored Premier PaceSetters/Premier Platinum PaceSetters finalize their status. In the event their status is never finalized, you will not receive any banked amounts.
- You will only receive a Lifetime Matching Bonus based on your current finalized status. Even if you have qualified for Platinum PaceSetter status, you will continue to receive a Lifetime Matching Bonus payout of either 2.5 or 5 percent (depending on the Premier PaceSetter/Premier Platinum PaceSetter status of your newly-enrolled Associates) until your own Platinum PaceSetter status is finalized.
- Once you begin receiving Lifetime Matching Bonus for a finalized, newly-enrolled Associate, you will continue to receive the same percentage of CVP match for the lifetime of that Associate’s USANA business, even if your own PaceSetter status changes.
- If an Associate’s total earnings for a week are less than 25 CVP (including revenue from Lifetime Matching Bonus), USANA will bank the generated CVP as a credit until such time that his or her earnings accumulate to 25 CVP or more, or when the Associate’s distributorship is terminated. This avoids the high cost of paying out small amounts through checks or direct credit.
- If, for any reason, an Associate’s Premier PaceSetter or Premier Platinum PaceSetter status is revoked (e.g., a return of products, termination of a downline distributorship, or violation of USANA’s Policies & Procedures), USANA reserves the right to withhold or reverse the Lifetime Matching Bonus paid to the sponsor.
